The Ohio State Buckeyes have punched their ticket to the college football national championship game following a 28-14 victory over the Texas Longhorns.

Ohio State has been dominant in the College Football Playoff. They’ve won each of their first three games by double digits: 42-17 over Tennessee, 41-21 over Oregon and 28-14 over Texas.

The Buckeyes seem to have picked up major momentum after a loss to their arch-rival, the Michigan Wolverines, in the final week of the regular season.

In Week 14, Michigan defeated Ohio State 13-10. This kept the Buckeyes out of the Big Ten title game and stripped them of a chance to secure a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff.

The Wolverines may have lit a fire in the Buckeyes after defeating Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio, and planting the Michigan flag, which led to a major postgame brawl.

Some fans believe the loss to Michigan helped spark a much-needed change in the Buckeyes.

“Thank you Xichigan!!!!” said one fan.

“So what you’re saying is it took Michigan to make men out of Ohio State? You aren’t lying,” said another fan.

“Thank you, Michigan Wolverines. Sincerely, Buckeye Fan,” mentioned one fan.

“Ohio state woke the monster. Nd woke the echos,” commented one fan.

“where is the michigan door??? OH WAIT,” said one fan.

“I meant that Michigan tweet too cause we was soft all that flag planting woke us up,” said another fan.

Ohio State finished the win over Texas with 370 total yards, 6.5 yards per play and 18 first-down conversions. They also produced one defensive touchdown, four sacks, six pass deflections, nine tackles for loss and 64 tackles
