SAD NEWS :Recent Injury Updates for Brighton & Hove Albion of about the two key players announce now

Brighton & Hove Albion are currently managing several injury concerns affecting their squad. Here’s an overview of the players’ statuses:

Georginio Rutter

The midfielder suffered an injury during the FA Cup quarter-final against Nottingham Forest on March 30, 2025. He left the field in the 75th minute, visibly distressed and limping. Post-match, Rutter was seen entering an ambulance for further evaluation. Details about the severity of his injury and his expected recovery timeline are pending further medical assessments.

Carlos Baleba

Baleba has been dealing with a knee issue, limiting his playtime to 45 minutes over the last two matches. Consequently, he withdrew from international duty to focus on recovery. The injury is considered minor, and he is anticipated to be available for upcoming fixtures.

Ferdi Kadioğlu

The summer signing missed the recent victory over Manchester City due to a toe injury and subsequently withdrew from Turkey’s Nations League squad. While initial reports suggested a potential two-month absence, Brighton’s head coach, Fabian Hürzeler, described the issue as minor, indicating that Kadioğlu could be fit for selection soon.

Lewis Dunk

The club captain has been sidelined for the past three Premier League matches due to a calf injury sustained during the warm-up before the draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers. Initially expected to be out for about four weeks, Dunk is nearing a return, though his availability for the next match remains uncertain.

Solly March

March has been out of action for over a year following a serious knee injury. He has been back in training for several weeks, but the club is cautious about his reintegration. Hürzeler emphasized the importance of patience, noting that March’s comeback will have its ups and downs. While progressing well both mentally and physically, no specific return date has been set.

James Milner

The veteran midfielder has experienced a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury sustained in August. Initially nearing a return before the international break, Milner remains unavailable, with no clear timeline for his comeback.

Adam Webster

The defender has had limited appearances this year due to various fitness issues and is currently recovering from a hamstring injury. Although the expected recovery period has passed, Webster’s participation in the upcoming match is doubtful.

Yankuba Minteh

The young winger is rehabilitating from a groin injury sustained during the October international break, which has kept him out of the last five league games. He is expected to return to action soon, though his availability for the next fixture remains uncertain.

Tariq Lamptey

Lamptey has struggled with injuries, making only one appearance this season. He aggravated a recent calf injury, casting doubt on his participation in the upcoming match. However, he is expected to be fit before the end of the month.

Matt O’Riley

The striker sustained an ankle injury on his debut in August, requiring surgery. Head coach Hürzeler described it as a “bad injury,” and while the exact recovery timeline is unclear, O’Riley is expected to be sidelined for an extended period.

The club continues to monitor these players’ conditions closely, aiming to manage their recoveries effectively and ensure their well-being before returning to competitive action.
