SHOCKING NEWS: Rangers now keen to sign in-demand forward for Philippe Clement

Rangers are reportedly looking to expand their attacking options in Philipp Clement’s first transfer window following the loan departure of Sam Lammers and injuries to Danilo and Kemar Roofe.
They could reportedly even take on Old Firm rivals Celtic in search of a new striker.
Rangers Transfer News Despite Fabio Silva joining on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this month, Rangers are looking to strengthen Clement’s front line with fresher faces.
The Gers have been linked with moves for Michy Batshuayi and Lawrence Shankland, both of whom could have a lot to offer at Ibrox.
Batshuayi, a former Chelsea striker and Premier League winner, will bring a wealth of experience to help the young Silva.
Shankland’s goals in the Scottish Premiership this season – 13 in 21 games to be exact – will no doubt give Clement’s side an extra boost.
However, reports suggest that the Gers may not choose either of these options in the near future.
Rangers are looking to sign Tommy Conway from Bristol City but face competition from Celtic, Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke.
That’s what it means.
The high-profile 21-year-old attracted a lot of attention in his last game for Bristol, scoring the winning goal in a surprise FA Cup victory over West Ham United.

Ibrox officials will be hoping that his Scottish ways will influence his selection and that Rangers will seal a deal for the young striker at some point.
With a number of clubs interested, Conway is certainly a player to keep an eye on not only this month but also in the summer transfer window.
“Great” Conway might be exactly what the Rangers need.
What the Rangers don’t want is a short-term solution for Clement.
Instead, they could use a player with Conway’s potential and current ability to step up straight to first-team football.
With Conway, the Jars have a player who is ready to perform at the required level, but who is far from finished and still has the potential to be at the top.
A situation will arise.
No wonder the Bristol City man has attracted so much interest.
Conway’s statistics speak volumes about a player who has made great strides this season, scoring eight goals in 22 games across all competitions.
Former manager Nigel Pearson is also well aware of the Scot’s abilities and praised the striker after giving him his first-class debut in 2021.
Pearson said, via the Bristol Post: “Tommy Conway started today and I thought he was great.
He really was.
” Alex Scott continued: “Most people at the club had never heard of these players and the coaching staff had no idea who they were.

Clement’s new addition could be crucial for Clement, who are eight points behind Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic with two games remaining.
