Raikkonen Legacy continues:Greenwood rejoins Alpine F1 team

Kimi Raikkonen’s former race engineer David Greenwood has returned to Formula 1, taking the role of Racing Director at Alpine.

Greenwood left Ferrari in 2018 to explore opportunities in other motorsport and that included working with now Alpine team boss Oli Oakes at Hitech GP.

He has a wealth of experience in F1, including working for Renault during their title-winning seasons in 2005 and 2006 as trackside engineer.

He spent four years at Marussia in engineering roles before overseeing Raikkonen’s return to Ferrari. During that stint, the team finished second three times in the Teams’ Championship.
