GRATULUJEME HC Kometa Brno, přední český hokejový tým, nedávno přivítal zpět dva významné hráče: Hynka Zohornu a Petera Muellera.

HC Kometa Brno, a prominent Czech ice hockey team, has recently welcomed back two notable players: Hynek Zohorna and Peter Mueller.

Hynek Zohorna’s Return

Hynek Zohorna, born on August 1, 1990, in Havlíčkův Brod, Czech Republic, is a seasoned forward known for his versatility and experience on international platforms. He began his junior career with HC Havlíčkův Brod and later played for HC Hradec Králové and HC Slavia Prague. Zohorna first joined HC Kometa Brno in 2011, contributing significantly to the team’s Czech Extraliga championships in 2017 and 2018. After stints with the Pelicans in Finland, Amur Khabarovsk in the KHL—where he earned a spot in the 2020 KHL All-Star Game—and IK Oskarshamn in Sweden, Zohorna returned to HC Kometa Brno in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of international experience.

Peter Mueller’s Return

Peter Mueller, an American forward born on April 14, 1988, in Bloomington, Minnesota, has also rejoined HC Kometa Brno. Mueller’s professional career includes nearly 300 NHL games with teams like the Phoenix Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, and Florida Panthers. He initially joined HC Kometa Brno in 2018, earning accolades such as the Zlatá helma for the most valuable player in the Extraliga in 2019 and leading the league in scoring during the 2020-2021 season. After a brief period with HC Vítkovice and the Grizzlys Wolfsburg, Mueller returned to HC Kometa Brno in October 2024, strengthening the team’s offensive lineup with his extensive experience.

The return of these two seasoned players is expected to bolster HC Kometa Brno’s performance in the Czech Extraliga, aiming to reclaim their championship status in the upcoming seasons.
