Everton now have to put the January transfer window behind them with FA Cup action to play on the weekend.
David Moyes has been able to steady the ship on Merseyside over recent weeks with three wins on the bounce in the Premier League.
Not a great deal of business was done by the Toffees over the window with Carlos Alcaraz Everton’s only signing.
Despite being on a seriously impressive run of form, Saturday’s game against Bournemouth could be a welcomed break from Premier League action.
Given there are so many injury issues plaguing the Everton side, it will be interesting to see whether the 61-year-old looks to make some significant changes.

Asmir Begovic impresses in Everton training
Everton have been struck by some serious injuries, with the likes of Orel Mangala missing the rest of the season through a knee ligament issue.
It may be difficult for Moyes to break up a winning side, but he knows fine well that Everton’s goal for the season is to remain in the Premier League.
One player has seemingly really impressed in training at Finch Farm this week with Asmir Begovic posting a video from his work between the sticks.

With a number of players failing to beat the Bosnian, the audible praise from his coaches and teammates was clear.
The 37-year-old has not played a single minute of football this season, but he is still managing to keep himself sharp behind the scenes.
Begovic has back the appointment of Moyes and will now be hoping his efforts in training have done enough to catch the manager’s eye.

Jordan Pickford looks unbeatable in Everton’s goal
Despite floating around the bottom end of the table, Everton’s defensive record has been mightily impressive.
At the heart of that has been England’s number one with even Michael Owen praising Jordan Pickford’s displays this season.
Of course, it is difficult to imagine Moyes would drop Pickford on the weekend.
However, with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Mangala out of action due to injury, a blow to Pickford would really instill fear over the threat of relegation.
A cup run would be great, but remaining a Premier League side is the Friedkins’ main objective this season.
