Clemson University head football coach Dabo Swinney has once again showcased his recruiting expertise by securing several highly-ranked prospects for the 2025 recruiting class. The Tigers’ class includes 15 signees, with notable players such as five-star defensive tackle Amare Adams and four-star running back Gideon Davidson leading the way.

Amare Adams, a standout from South Florence High School in Florence, South Carolina, was named the Morning News Player of the Year after an impressive senior season with 75 tackles and six sacks. He also earned the prestigious Anthony Muñoz Award at the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl. Running back Gideon Davidson, ranked as the No. 3 running back in the nation, is a four-star prospect from Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is also ranked No. 90 overall in the 2025 class.

In addition to Adams and Davidson, the class also features quarterback Chris Denson from Plant City High School in Florida. Denson is ranked among the top 50 quarterbacks and flipped his commitment from Coastal Carolina to Clemson. Offensive tackle Tucker Kattus, from Cincinnati, Ohio, also committed to the Tigers after previously pledging to Kentucky.

Other key signings include versatile athlete Marquise Henderson, wide receiver Juju Preston, and tight end Logan Brooking. The offensive line also received reinforcements with Brayden Jacobs from South Carolina and Gavin Blanchard. Defensive prospects like Makhi Williams-Lee, Ari Watford, and Jakarrion Kenan add depth to Clemson’s defense, strengthening the team’s overall future prospects.
