Breaking News:Rangers Champions League Squad Revealed: Shocking Omissions Unveiled

Philippe Clement stated last night that Oscar Cortes will not be available for Rangers’ encounter against Dynamo Kyiv due to injury.

The Colombian winger will be out for “four or five” weeks after suffering an injury against Hearts on the first day of the Scottish Premiership season. It’s a significant setback for Clement and his Rangers team, especially because Cortes was selected for the Champions League squad but would be unable to go to Lublin, Poland, for the qualifier. Rangers have submitted their finalised squad list for the Champions League third qualifying round, with a few noteworthy players left out.

Todd Cantwell, unsurprisingly, has not been selected for Rangers after requesting a transfer earlier this summer. Ianis Hagi is also out of contention, with Clement stating that the Romanian playmaker is not in his plans after returning from a loan spell at Alaves in La Liga last season.

Clinton Nsiala, a recent acquisition, was not selected for the squad, which may have raised some concerns. The centre-back came from AC Milan in the summer but has not been named in the team for tonight’s match, unlike most recent acquisition Robin Propper.

Ross McCausland and Zak Lovelace feature on the Rangers’ player list B.
