Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Lecce’s 20-year-old wing-back, Patrick Dorgu. The club is prepared to offer €40 million (£33.7 million) for the Danish international, who has made 52 appearances in Serie A. Manager Ruben Amorim is keen to integrate Dorgu into his 3-4-3 formation.

However, Lecce has rejected United’s initial £27 million bid, valuing Dorgu at £35 million. The player, acquired for just £200,000 from FC Nordsjælland in 2022, has expressed openness to the move.

Financial constraints at United might ease with Antony’s anticipated loan move to Real Betis, who will cover most of his wages. Additionally, United could entertain offers around €70 million (£59 million) for Alejandro Garnacho, with Chelsea showing interest.
