COMPLETED DEAL: I’ve scored more league goals than Bukayo Saka this season – I’m finally joining Spurs this summer Spurs have announced they have signed a deal to bring back the Hajduk Split wonderkid

Ange Postecoglou has quite a decision on his hands when it comes to his Tottenham team to take on Manchester City on Wednesday evening. Receiving a huge boost over the past fortnight with Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, James Maddison, Wilson Odobert and Brennan Johnson returning to action, the Spurs boss finally has plenty of choice at his disposal.

Maddison started on the bench at Ipswich Town last Saturday but he did enter the fray on 64 minutes and got an assist to his name after playing in Djed Spence to score the side’s third goal of the afternoon. The attacking midfielder looks a certainty to come back into the team but it remains to be seen who will drop out.

It could either be one of the three midfielders who started at Portman Road who makes way or there could potentially be a change involving an attacker in order to accommodate the 28-year-old. It’s a great selection dilemma for the boss to have and it’s certainly not the only one facing Postecoglou.

Incoming Tottenham signing Luka Vuskovic has already outshone future Arsenal rival Bukayo Saka before even setting foot in north London.

Spurs announced their agreement to sign the Hajduk Split wonderkid back in September 2023, though it was always agreed he would remain in Croatia for another two years. But his performances mean the transfer – understood to be worth £12million – will have left some Spurs fans wishing it could be brought forward.
