Bayern Munich: Bundesliga
Keep calm and carry on: Bayern Munich manager, Vincent Kompany, insists his side “stayed calm” amidst criticism, and will “stay calm” going forward
When someone says calm so many times it makes me think they are anything but calm.

Bayern Munich have come under fire for some sub par performances in recent weeks, the attack in particular being criticised for its lack of imagination following goalless results against Bayer Leverkusen and Celtic Glagow.
Despite Bayern’s recent struggles in front of goal, it looks like Die Roten have finally broken out of their goal scoring slump after thrashing Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0 in an emphatic attacking display.
Bayern manager Vincent Kompany ensured fans that his side were always “calm” amidst the recent rocky run of form and plans for it to stay that way.
“We’ve always stayed calm [after Leverkusen and Celtic] and we’ll stay calm now as well. The two extra days did us a lot of good and it showed on the pitch today. We did exactly what we wanted. We played very well, created many chances and worked hard. Now we turn our focus to the next game, which we also want to win.” former Manchester City and current Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany declared (via @iMiaSanMia).
It was positive to see a free flowing Bayern Munich attack after weeks of what seemed like slow and stagnant football.
The real question is: can Bayern Munich maintain this standard of football, especially against Leverkusen in the Champions League Quarter Final?
Only time will tell, but you can be certain Kompany and his boys will be calm either way.
