Abdoulaye Doucoure explains exactly why David Moyes is such a good manager

For most of the season, it looked like Everton were resigned to a relegation battle.
Sean Dyche had Everton languishing at the foot of the table and narrowly above the bottom three before David Moyes took over.
Since Moyes’ arrival, the Toffees’ fortunes have completely turned and they’re now nine points clear of the drop, with a game in hand.
Everton have the chance to put themselves 12 points ahead of 18th-placed Leicester City on Wednesday night, when they play host to Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.
Ahead of the crunch clash, Abdoulaye Doucoure has been speaking about how Moyes has been able to improve Everton’s form so suddenly.

Abdoulaye Doucoure explains why David Moyes is so good
Speaking on the Overlap’s Breakdown podcast, Doucoure explained why Moyes has been able to make such a big impact since arriving last month.
“I think obviously he had a good team around him, his assistant and him. They work very good together. They know each other for a long time.
“But since he came in, he just changed a couple of things tactically. Then you can see the difference, playing from the back, just the positioning of the players.

“Even my positioning, he showed me some couple of clips where I can improve and he made a massive difference.
“That’s why he was very successful.”
Doucoure set for battle to keep his place in Moyes’ XI
Moyes made no secret of his desire to sign a player in a similar mould to Marouane Fellaini during the Janaury transfer window.
“If we were really fortunate to bring in another Fellaini, it would be great but it’s probably unfortunate in this window we might be able to do that,” the 61-year-old said.
Everton were able to sign Carlos Alcaraz and he is now expected to compete with Doucoure for a spot in Moyes’ starting line-up.
