Everton now have a matter of hours to get their transfer business over the line.

It has been an extremely frustrating month in the market for Everton fans who are still yet to see their first signing made.

The Friedkins wanted to see two signings made at Goodison Park after David Moyes made his return to the club last month.

But Kevin Thelwell is leaving it late if that is not to happen.

Everton are close to signing Carlos Alcaraz with the midfielder having undergone a medical on Sunday.

There are plenty of potential transfers on the cards still on Merseyside and Everton News has rounded up some of the main stories ahead of what is set to be a busy day.

Kevin Thelwell has now been locked in Everton negotiations for Junior Dina Ebimbe for a number of months now.

The midfielder – who has been likened to Jude Bellingham – has now returned to Eintracht Frankfurt following a failed medical with AS Monaco.

Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert has approved a move to Everton with the defender keen to play in the Premier League.

Hours remain before the window shuts, so Thelwell is going to have to get a wriggle on.

John Textor shuts down Rayan Cherki exit
Everton have shown interest in Lyon’s Rayan Cherki, but it seems as his the club owner is ruling out a potential late exit.

The Ligue 1 side are in serious financial trouble having already been provisionally relegated as a result of their financial mess.

However, John Textor has ruled out an exit for Rayan Cherki after going on a social media rant.

Textor aimed his frustration at Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg who was reporting on Borussia Dortmund’s interest.
