Novak Djokovic holds the record for the most ATP Masters 1000 titles won on hard courts, while Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal feature in the top five. 

Here, we look at the five players who have won 10 or more hard-court Masters 1000 tournaments since the Masters series was introduced in 1990.

5. Rafael Nadal – 10

Rafael Nadal claimed 10 of his 36 ATP Masters 1000 titles at hard-court tournaments (27.8%). He won three of the six current hard-court Masters events.

The Spaniard won the Canadian Open five times, the Indian Wells Masters on three occasions and the Cincinnati Masters once, while he also claimed the Madrid crown on hard courts in 2005.

4. Andy Murray – 12

Andy Murray secured 12 of his 14 ATP Masters 1000 crowns on hard courts (85.7%). He won five of the six current hard-court Masters events, with Indian Wells the only one to elude him.

The Brit is a three-time champion at both the Shanghai Masters and the Canadian Open, a two-time winner in Miami and Cincinnati, while he triumphed once in Paris. He also won the Madrid Masters in its final year as a hard-court tournament in 2008.

3. Andre Agassi – 14

Andre Agassi won 14 of his 17 career Masters series titles at hard-court events (82.4%), with his titles coming across five different hard-court Masters events.

Agassi won the Miami Open six times, the Canadian Open and Cincinnati Masters three times each, while he claimed one title in both Indian Wells and Madrid.

2. Roger Federer – 22

Roger Federer collected 22 of his 28 Masters 1000 crowns at hard-court tournaments (78.6%).

The Swiss won all six of the current hard-court Masters 1000 tournaments at least once, with his seven titles in Cincinnati his best haul at a Masters event.

Federer also claimed five titles in Indian Wells, four in Miami, two in both Canada and Shanghai, and one in Paris. He also won the Madrid Open in 2006 when it was played on indoor hard courts.

1. Novak Djokovic – 29

Novak Djokovic has secured 29 of his record 40 Masters 1000 titles at hard-court tournaments (72.5%).

The Serbian, who has won all nine Masters 1000 events on multiple occasions, has claimed all six of the current hard-court Masters titles four or more times each.
