SAD NEWS: unbelievable five Midfielder suffers injury nightmare after Aston Villa transfer

Philippe Coutinho has disappointingly picked up a fresh injury only four matches into his loan to Vasco da Gama from Aston Villa.

A protracted transfer saga eventually saw Villa, the Brazilian and his boyhood club agree to the terms of a year-long loan deal earlier in the summer. The deal went through various phases, suggestions being it could have been a permanent deal or that his contract in the West Midlands could have even been terminated.

His temporary move was settled upon, and Coutinho brought a great deal of excitement as at 32 years of age he returned to the side that gave him his first opportunity in football. However, this latest blow has threatened to derail progress at an early stage.
