Breaking News: Rangers Star Shocking countdown To Exist The Club

Keith Jackson says James Tavernier is “counting down the hours” till his Rangers exit. This comes as the defender has been linked with a move away from Ibrox since the start of the summer, with numerous clubs keen in signing him.

Jackson spoke on the Daily Record’s Hotline [6 August] before of Rangers’ 1-1 draw with Dynamo Kyiv, discussing Tavernier and his future plans. “Tavernier has been miles off it and looks like a player who’s counting down the hours now until the transfer window puts him out of his misery,” according to Jackson.

Rangers need to find a suitor for James Tavernier before 30 August

Although Tavernier played well against Dynamo Kyiv on August 6 and received a 7/10 in the Champions League qualifier, it appears that he lacks the quality that the Gers are looking for.

While there’s no doubting that the right-back has been one of Glasgow’s top performers in recent seasons, it appears that now is a good moment for the two to part ways. He is one of the Gers’ biggest earners, and if his performance in Rangers’ season opener against Hearts is any indication, his days are numbered.

Robin Propper is an example of this; he was brought in to replace Connor Goldson. Propper was 30 years old, so it was essentially a like-for-like replacement.

Tavernier is also one of the squad’s oldest members, and if a team comes in with a good deal, it would be foolish for the club to turn it down, especially because they need to make additional sales to bring in more reinforcements.
