Latest NFL rumors could complicate LA Rams vying for NFC West Division crown

The LA Rams invested in ball hawking defensive backs for their defense in 2024. But they missed one, and that could be their downfall of prying the NFC West from the clutches of the 49ers.

The LA Rams have their sights set on the NFC West Division Title, and then beyond that on Super Bowl LIX. It’s a stretch goal in every sense of the word. The NFC West Division is ripe for a new division winner, with the San Francisco 49ers laying claim to the top spot for two consecutive years. And with the Rams currently in Year 3 of their third 3-year cycle in the past nine years, it certainly is not unheard of for the Rams to make their regular move to the top.

 

We even diagnosed the entire NFC West Division and found that the LA Rams appear to hold the strongest hand to vie for the title. Well, at the moment.

 

 

The NFL is constantly changing, and right now there are NFL rumors heating up over the San Francisco 49ers poised to add another veteran to their defense. We know that the 49ers are committed to a new direction on the defensive side of the football after firing DC Steve Wilks, and they did not exactly wow the world with their offseason so far.

 

That could change soon, however. Former Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmon is still waiting a contract to play for an NFL team in 2024, and more and more football analysts are connecting the dots between Simmons and the 49ers defensive need to reinforce t
