SHOCKING NeWS : rangers completed the signing of Brazilian strike but not to play due to…

Rangers should have both Hamza Igamane and Yusuf Kabadayi confirmed and in training by Wednesday, according to The 4th Official.

Gary Morris reported via the outlet’s YouTube channel on the evening of 24 June that the two attackers are expected to be wrapped up as new signings for Philippe Clement within the next 48 hours, joining the Belgian’s preseason work which began at the start of the week.

It was the T4O podcast host who reported on 9 June that the Light Blues were in talks with the German winger Kabadayi after agreeing a fee between £1million and £1.5m with Bayern Munich, while Rangers Review’s Chris Jack reported on 20 June that a deal for Moroccan striker Igamane was now imminent after another deal worth around £1.5m was agreed with FAR Rabat.

Morris said: “Rangers remain in very serious talks with Bayern Munich’s Yusuf Kabadayi, and I would firmly expect both of those to be arriving for training with Rangers over the course of the next 48 hours or so.”

The work is far from done for the manager and Nils Koppen but the overhaul of the squad will look a lot further along once the two young attackers arrive.

Goalkeeper Liam Kelly is also expected to be signing imminently now that Scotland have been eliminated from Euro 2024, having signed a brief Motherwell extension to cover his involvement in the tournament [Daily Record, 8 June].

They will all follow the signings of former Aberdeen midfielder Connor Barron, Clinton Nsiala from AC Milan, a deal to bring back Oscar Cortes from Lens and the delayed signing of Fluminense defender Jefte.
