Great news continues to arrive for Wrexham AFC’s women

For the next generation of talented players, there has been a title triumph to celebrate with the Reds securing the Adran U19s’ North championship.

Meanwhile, the senior team has been handed a licence to thrill once more next season.

Steve Dale’s Wrexham women have been granted an FAW tier one licence for the 2025/26 season, which confirms they will remain in the Adran Premier League.

The Reds’ initial application for the licence was turned down, however they have been successful with their appeal.

Next up for the seniors is a trip to Newport’s Rodney Parade to tackle double-chasing Cardiff City in the final of the Welsh Cup on Sunday, April 27.

This will be a repeat of last season’s showpiece, when Cardiff completed a domestic treble with their hard-fought 2-0 triumph.

There’s a big game for Wrexham U19s before then with next Sunday’s national play-off against Cardiff City at Newtown’s Latham Park ground.
